Through the PADI Boat Diver Specialty course, you can learn the techniques and procedures for diving from different types of boats. The Deep Diver Specialty course offers you the opportunity of a lifetime – going deep to see thing others can only dream about.  In this course you will experience what it’s like to dive beyond 60 feet.  You’ll learn deep dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and procedures.  Course consists of 4 dives over 2 days.  Prerequisites: minimum age 15 & Adventure Diver.

Diver Propulsion vehicle

DPVs offer a thrilling way to see a lot of underwater territory in a brief amount of time.  They scoot you through the water without kicking.  Whether making a shore dive or diving from a boat, a DPV is a great way to see more and have a blast doing it.  Fun?  Underwater scooters (DPVs) are a kick!  It’s all fun.  Will complete 2 dives in 1 day.  Prerequisites: minimum age 12 & Open Water Diver.

Drift Diver

The PADI Drift Diver Specialty course introduces you to the coolest magic carpet ride you’ll ever experience. This course shows you how to enjoy rivers and ocean currents by “going with the flow,” staying with your dive partner, communicating with the dive boat and knowing where you are the whole time. Drift Diving is nearly effortless and relaxing. You simply glide along and enjoy the rush of flying underwater while the current does the work. Two dives are required for this class. Prerequisites: minimum age 12 & Open Water Diver.

Dry Suit Diver

Want to stay warm and toasty on a dive?  Then stay out of the water.  What? Stay out of the water?  Yes!  Unlike a wetsuit, a dry suit seals you off from the outside water.  In the PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course, you’ll learn how to use a dry suit.  And that keeps you warm!  Even in very cold water.  Class includes 1 confined water and 2 open water dives. Prerequisites:  10 years old and Open Water Diver.

Ice Diver

$200 plus certification

If the spirit of adventure and unusual, challenging diving appeals to you, try diving under the ice.  Explore the unique aqua-scape found only under ice.  You can be one of the few that have ever dived under a solid ceiling of ice.  You will complete a minimum of three ice dives over 2 days for your certification.  Dives are typically done as a group working with support personnel, divers, tenders, and safety divers.  You are under the ice to learn to control buoyancy, navigate under the ice, and keep in contact with the lead diver and tenders via line pulls.  Prerequisites: minimum age 18, Advanced Open Water.

Multilevel diver

Maximize your dive time so you can explore more! In this course, you learn how to plan dives that extend your bottom time by crediting you for slower nitrogen absorption when you ascend to a shallower depth.  That’s the way you really dive, after all.  You will also learn how a dive computer works.  Class consists of 2 dives in one day.  Prerequisites: minimum age 12 & Open Water Diver.

“Neptune” Full Face Mask Diver

You will learn how to use a full face mask, the advantages of using a full face mask, and the emergency procedures to switch to your backup regulator and regular mask.  You will also explore the underwater communications systems that can be used with a full face mask.  It consists of one confined water dive and then 2 open water dives.  Prerequisites: minimum age 12 & Open Water Diver.  Use of  Neptune mask is included in course.

Night Diver

The adventure, thrill and excitement of night diving can be yours when you complete your PADI Night Diver Specialty course. You learn about night dive planning, equipment and navigation. Have you ever dropped something in the water?  Are you looking for lost treasure?  The PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course will teach you effective ways to find objects underwater and bring them to the surface.  Will complete 4 dives over 2 days (3 dives in 1 day if you have completed the Search & Recover Adventure Dive).  Prerequisites:  minimum age 12 & Advanced Open Water, or Open Water Diver with U/W Navigator Specialty.

Underwater Naturalist

Look closer to see more on your next dive. Look for symbioses, predator/prey and other relationships between aquatic plant and animal life.  Learn not just what fish and animals are, but how they interact with each other and the environment.  Learn about why some creatures behave the way they do and what their role is in the aquatic ecosystem.  You will put this info to use on your 2 dives.  Prerequisites:  minimum age 10 & Open Water Diver.

The lure of exploring sunken vessels, airplanes and automobiles is something most divers can’t resist.  The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course introduces you to wreck diving and helps you develop the skills and knowledge necessary for safe and fun wreck diving.  Class consists of 4 dives over 2 days (3 in 1 day if you completed the Wreck Adventure Dive).  Prerequisites:  minimum age 15 & Adventure Diver.
